I'm Doing a New Thing

Lyrics

V1
Behold I’m doing a new thing
See how your new life oh it glistens and gleams
I am making you clean
See how you get to live free

Pre-Chorus
I’m doing a new thing cause that’s who I am

Chorus
I am the God of restoration
Redemption, renewal are all part of me
Reconciliation is something I bring
Rest, rejuvenation is what you breathe

V2
I empower you to overflow with hope
So when you feel at the end of your rope
I still make you grow
These are the promises you get to know

V3
You overflow by my power alone
So when you feel weak, I’m making you strong
Remember this isn’t your work to boast
The work wasn’t yours to do
So any burden is not yours to hold

Chorus
I am the God of restoration
Redemption, renewal are all part of me
Reconciliation is something I bring
Rest, rejuvenation is what you breathe

Bridge
This freedom I provide abundantly, abundantly
Allows you to run and not grow weary
I made you new
And this hope will renew your strength
I am not slow in doing a new thing
This winter will lead to a spring

Chorus
I am the God of restoration
Redemption, renewal are all part of me
Reconciliation is something I bring
Rest, rejuvenation is what you breathe

Post-Chorus
I am doing a new thing cause that’s who I am
